Make: Magura
Model: Big Ego
Year: 2000
Travel 185mm (+15mm negative)
Spring: Coil (suits 12-15st rider
Axle: 20mm (uses 12mm allen key, but can easily be done by putting 3x 6mm allen keys together)
Disc Mount: IS2000
Stantion Size: 35mm
Weight: 3.4Kg
Steerer: 1 1/8th 230mm
Adjustments:
Rebound
Compression (currently jammed)
Internal shim stacks
For sale my spare DH forks.
Bought for a retro project build, but family's expanding and all projects are out the window .
They are showing their age with cosmetic marks, but are still in excellent working order.
The only annoying point is that the compression adjuster is currently jammed, but it is currently set at a good usable setting.
The seals are in good condition with no leaks, the stantions are in good condition, but there are a couple of patches where they have been repaired from minor nics.
The forks are slightly annoying to fit the front wheel, as the spring leg sits about 10mm higher than the damper when at rest.
Makes putting the wheel in n out a little bit of a faff, but once it's in and all tightened up it's solid as a rock.
These are surprisingly plush for to ride considering their age and would give most of today's forks a run for their money.
Grab a great fork for a bargain price.
Asking £150 + postage
