SOLD: Little used Marin Rift Zone £90!

I need some space and have this nice Marin Rift Zone to get rid of. . . . It's almost original (except saddle, rear tyre and new grips (one had split)). 17inch frame (C to T), good for somebody up to max height 5'10. Everything works as it should and it's a pretty tidy bike. A little wear to the braking surfaces on the rims. LX rear mech, STX front mech, STX RC 8 speed shifters, Parralax hubs wth Mavix X138 rims and DT spokes, FSA headset, dual sided pedals (flat/spd). Avid 1.9 Brake levers and 2.0 V brakes sporting original pads. The Manitou SX forks and Shockworks rear shock are nice and plush with no play in the bushes. Deore LX Chainset . . . missing one ring bolt. Tyres being of the era are showing their age although have plenty of tread left. IRC Mythos XC 1.9 front and Specialized Ground Control rear, both tan wall. Saddle is a later Specialized body geometry one in ok, but used condition. Not entirely sure of the year . . . 1997? Correct me if I'm wrong though!

Thanks both of you . . . hopefully it'll go to a good home in due course. It was slightly small for me hence the sale but I have another bigger one now but it needs some tlc. I like the fact that these old Rift Zones are both affordable and a good ride.

Yes, too small for me. A mate had one bitd, loved it so much he upgraded it wth Pace forks, a fox shock and disc brakes!
Think he may have been a bit p.ssed that I still beat him on downhills on a steel rigid, but there you go! Lol

Rollo, as it happens I have a spare bike box I could ship it in . . . I was trying to save the hassle of packing, finding a courier and despatch. If you really want it I'll do the legwork, although I'd normally prefer people to view to be happy with the purchase prior to parting with their cash. Up to you . . . happy to take more pics if needs be too. Cheers
