I bought these the other day for a project and I'm gutted that they won't fit as the steerer is too short for the huge head tube on the intended frame (20 inch Saracen).
The forks look to be in good condition with the ODS shock. A few scuffs have been touched up on the lowers, but no dings or dents so very presentable. Bushings/linkages feel good too, with no play.
Steerer is a 1 inch variant with a bonded shim at the bottom to make it fit for a 1 1/8 head tube. Top of the steerer has an adapter to fit 1 1/8 headsets too (I seem to recall owning a set of the noleen versions of these that had the same arrangement as standard, though the lower was not bonded on).
Spring is an Eibach, not sure if this is standard or an upgrade.
Brakes can be canti or v as there is a canti brace for the cable (neat).
Steerer is 213mm long approx and has 157mm (approx) below the clamp.
Let me know if you need any more info.
Just looking to get back what I paid, which was £50 inc UK postage.
Did I mention I was gutted that these didn't fit? I have been tempted to remove the 1 1/8 adapter and use them on another build in 1 inch guise, but have decided that they are too nice a set of forks to languish on the never ridden clockwork I built for my wife many moons ago, and rebuilt recently in the hope that she may one day actually ride it.
