Hello all,
I've decided to downsize my bike collection, so my reliable Bad Boy commuter sadly has to go.
Having done hundreds of miles over the years, I recently replaced both wheels with some very nice Mavic rims - the rear being an 8 speed. The right shifter subsequently has an empty click, due to having 24 gears rather than the original 27. They new wheels have had very little use.
Here's a brief account of the bike's specs. Do just ask if you have any questions about the bike - I'll do my best to answer them.
Frame: 2006 Made in USA, aluminium
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore
Rear Derailleur: Sram X7
Shifters: Sram X7 Trigger
Chainrings: 48/36/26 Tooth
Cassette: 8 speed
Brakes: Cannondale V brakes with Aztec pads
Rims: Mavic X517
Front Hub: Shimano Deore LX
Rear Hub: Shimano Deore LX
Front Tyre: Nimbus Armadilo 26 x 1.5
Rear Tyre: Nimbus Armadilo 26 x 1.5
Saddle: Selle Royal Bad Boy
Pedals: MKS AR-2
A few things to mention:
- The handle bar grips are worn out and need replacing. If it's a quick sale, I'll get some new ones.
- There's wear to the paintwork on break levers and cranks.
- Cosmetically, I'd give the frame 7 out of 10. It has the usual scratches and pitting for a bike of this age.
- It's been sitting idle indoors for the past 2 years, so would benefit from a service.
