Dirt Disciple
Hi

I am listing 2x Pearson touring bikes for sale, on behalf of the framebuilder Cliff Shrubb (who isnt on the 'net).

He is selling these on behalf of the widow of a friend, a fellow CTC member who died recently after a short illness.

Both machines are fairly similar in spec...

Pearson Branded frames (but Cliff suspects they are Dave Yates built), Reynolds 531tubing, and Campagnolo long-ends.

The frames look to be late 70s/early 80s that have been recently resprayed and kitted out with recent equipment.

pale Silver Machine = 24" Frame (C to Top)
dark SIlver Machine = 23.5" (C to top)

Pale Silver machine appears to have mainly Shimano STX equipment, Dark Silver Shimano Deore, including gears, chainset (triple) and dual pivot brakes and Cateye Computers.

Both have Mavic a719 rims, look to be stainless spokes.

Flat bars, and shimano thumbshifters. Rolls saddles.

Cassettes and hubs look to be recent, and are very clean.

Both machines have a few small paint chips, but are otherwise in excellent condiiton. The rider was fastidious about the maintenance of these machines, and I think would be ready to ride with a minimum of maintenance.

I am offering them at £300 each, and I would like to get a fair price for the widow but would be open to offers for both machines.

Both machines are located at Cliffs place in Wallington, SW London/Surrey and Cash on Collection would be preferred. (I am not sure he would post them you will need to collect)
