NOW SOLD

This is perfect for a tourer- great quality frame, 2cm smaller and I would be riding on a trip to Switzerland in April!

The guy i bought it from had it as a high spec touring frame. He got it re-sprayed last Spring and had 'Hewitt' transfers put on. I changed them to 'twit' in honour ;) . I can take them off no probs for the buyer as they are just vinyl over the laquer.

- Wide selection of braze-ons for fitting front&rear pannier racks, pump, 2 x bottle cage mounts, mudguards and cantilevers/v-brake (both inside and outsid of the traingle for heavy packed touring.)

General wear, few scratches (see pictures); slight indentation where the band-on front mech has clamped onto the frame.

The fork i bought from sjscycles.co.uk couple of months back for £30 and has never been fitted. it has a little scratch but is in perfect condition and ready for some long touring.

- English Bottom Bracket shell
- 1" Steerer column
- Reynolds 531 tubing throughout (think its 531st or 531c)
- band-on front mech
------
Top tube = 58cm centre to centre
Seat tube = 58cm centre to centre
Steerer column = 17cm

Wish i could keep it, just too big. Would suit someone 5'11" - 6'2

Headset NOT included

£60 ONO. Collection from London or postage bit extra, say a tenner to UK.

Just to add...

There is a guy near me, Mario Vaz, who can get this resprayed for £60 frame and forks with original decals. Large range of enamel colours and he previously supervised the spray shop for the Holdsworth/Claud Butler Bicycle Company.

re spray

would he limit himself to this frame? or could he do others as well. I am looking for some one to respray my kona. I would be interested in his services if he would be prepared to spray it.

Thats the man! He has a mixed reputation! but my dealings with him have been all good and he is cheap as chips!

spray

would you have any contact details for him or could i google him up and find him?

Lovely frame there mate. Would build up to make someone a lovely tourer or cyclocross bike. Rob
