1997 Marin Pine Mountain frame
Triple-butted Tange cro-mo with Afterburner seatstays
I had this freshly powdercoated in metallic copper as the old paint was in a pretty bad way (first photo). Decent job overall but the BB and headtube could ideally do with refacing.
I was going to build it into a Radavist-style monstercross bike, but other plans have got in the way.
Fork is non-original and possibly from a Dawes.
No rust/crack/dents.
Measures:
Seat tube (centre to centre) = 17.5", seat tube (centre to top) = 19", top tube = 22.25". Takes 26.8mm seatpost, 1-1/8" forks, 28.6mm front mech clamp.
Fork:
187mm steerer, 1-1/8" threadless, SFN installed, 395mm axle-crown
