SOLDHi all, time to clear more garage space so it's time my Clockwork went to a new loving home. It's a 1996 19" Clockwork frame that I imported from Germany as it was cheaper to buy there than in the UK at the time. I built it up with the following original spec that's still on it:
Mavic X517 rims with XTR hubs (handbuilt by Merlin Cycles)
Deore rear V brake, XT front
Orange Supercross bars
USE seatpost
Avocet O2 TI saddle (still the most comfortable saddle I've ever sat on)
Cane Creek headset (bearing could do with replacing)
Kona Project II forks
ControlTech stem
XT Front Mech (E-type)
Avid Levers
Deore Front Vbrake (not shown in photos)
The only bits that aren't original are the LX cranks and deore rear derailleur (i still have the original XT derailleur).
The condition is as you'd expect for an unrestored bike of this vintage, the frame has a few scratches & scrapes and some of the decals need replacing but most importantly it has no cracks or dents. The rims and hubs are in great condition and true, the saddle needs some leather care to deal with the cracks but it's not split or anything.
Looking for £150 collected
