This 1990 Marin Eldridge was given to me by a friend and I thought it’d be a good winter project - my first! So, it has had a full strip down, fresh powder coat on the frame and forks, new decals applied, new Panaracer Smoke and Dart tyres, New Flite titanium saddle, almost new biopace chainset and replacement cassette and new chain, new Flexstem (the original flouro green one is also available if the buyer wants it).
Also features LX front and rear derailleurs, Deore thumb shifters, one TA Specialities bottle cage and other unbranded and original flouro green Onza bar ends. The original wheels were knackered so have been replaced with something more modern (although I have the original front wheel if the buyer wishes to have it). New brake pads fitted on the Shimano cantilever brakes and nice Deore DX brake levers still with their original hoods. 3TTT MTB bars. Overall I’m pretty pleased with the result but the bike is a little too big for me so time to let it go.
£250 - Priced to cover the cost of what I have spent only. Collection only please. PM if you wish to come and view. J8 M61, Chorley.
If the whole bike doesn’t sell then I’ll break it and make all of the parts available here. The frame is 19 inches centre BB to centre of seat tube. (amended size.)
Sorry, pedals not included, my godson has blagged those already!
