SOLD 1989/1990 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra Columbus SLX

Hi all,

I have a hand made 1989/1990, Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra, Columbus SLX road bike with Campagnolo brakes and gears (in the handlebars) and vuelta airline 4 rims and tires.

The seat tube is 23"/58.5cm (center to center) and the top tube is 22,5"/57cm, (center to center)
23,5"/60cm for the seat tube from center of the crank to top of the seat tube. (I am 1m85/6ft1 if that is of any help, and it was a great match for my size)

I bought this bike back in 1995 and has been sitting in storage since 2001 due to me moving around a lot.
I used it for competitions for 3 summer seasons and it has a couple of scratches (see photos) but never fell or anything so no dents etc, no rust either.

This color scheme was featured in the 1990 catalogue of Eddy Merckx but is pretty rare compared to the team color schemed bikes

Since it has been in storage for so long and a potential move abroad I thought it was time for somebody else to enjoy a great Merckx bike.

I was thinking of selling it for £475 ono and would prefer if it could be picked up from South East London (25 mins from Charing Cross) but if it needs to be send I am sure we can also work something out.

That's too big for me, but for what it is worth that's a cracking bike and a good price.

Dropping the price a bit on this one to 550 as I would like to sell it relatively quickly due to the move abroad.
