I have a bit of a lack of space issue - so I'm letting this one go, looking for around the £120 mark
It's been used as a commuter, so various parts have been changed out over time
Frame: Size 18.5", Paint not perfect, theres rust spots here and there and around the chainstay has a lot of paint loss. it's original paint and decals and I think it will probably touch up and polish very well
Wheels: Black araya on Exage hubs - still with original labels. Rear braking surfaces are scored as you'd expect, but have plenty of life left in them.
Drivechain: LX crankset and non-original Altus mech. The setup is 3x6.
Gears: Shifters are old '80s XT deerhead thumb shifters, but also throwing in some original spec deore 3x6 indexed thumbies which need a bit of sorting out.
Brakes: Oringial levers, front cantis and rear U-brake. Thogh, rear brake is getting tatty. It probably could be cleaned up, but I'll throw in a nice XT one which would make an a good upgrade.
Saddle: Rolls, not in bad condition seatpost appears to be slightly undersized/shimmed so it really needs changing out for the right size and the QR is pretty rusty.
Rides fine, but really needs a strip-down and bearing service and a good clean to be at it's best, and maybe some of the negative points above addressing - so I'm selling as a project. Would prefer it collected from South Sheffield if possible - will hold until lockdown ends or do contact-free transaction, but sorry I just can't be arsed to post it anywhere
