SOLD - 1982 RALEIGH RAPIDE REYNOLDS 531 - 56 CM FRAME £85

For sale again after being let down badly by a member. 1982 Raleigh Rapide. Reynolds 531 frame. Chrome forks. Pretty sure they are Reynolds 653 forks as they came from a quality 653 bike. a lovely leaher The front wheel is a lovely alloy. The rear is a Rigida with a very nice 5 speed freewheel. Both are 700c. Has a lovely Milremo leather saddle. Weinman 730 side pull brakes. Original bars and stem. 10 speed chain set 52t 39t. Alloy fluted seat post. Bottom bracket and headset are fine.

Seat tube is 56 cm c to c.
Top tube is 56 cm c to c.
Stand height is 82 cm.

Known faults:

Obviously the wheels don't match.

Front brake needs a new nut for the cable.

Will obviously need new cables.

Will make a great winter project for some one. Alas not me.

The frame number is: WG 2 0000 21. According to the info I have to hand that means that this frame was manufactured in Worksop in May 1982 and was the the 21st one of the run.
