So, who's the Kona "Don" ?

Re:

Also remember when shopping for a brake cable guide for the rear brake to look for the plastic version and not the aluminum version. In '91 the seatpost clamp was part of the frame requiring the flexible plastic cable guide to negotiate the seatpost clamp. Not really possible with the later aluminum version.

And when looking for a front mech look for a bottom pull, bottom swing with a 28.6 mm clamp. In '91 cable pull was from the bottom (routed underneath the bottom bracket) and the high clamp is necessary due to the forming at the bottom part of the seat tube.

In 1991 shimano hadn't brought out their toppull mech yet and topswing wouldn't be in the market for another half decade
Though this did have a suntour groupset and they already had top pull...

Wasn't sure if the OP was going for period correct/catalog correct or just wanted to ride it so thought the info was pertinent

Re:

vernier calipers are worth their weight in (retro) gold at times like this, headset, seat tube, bottom bracket can all be easily & quickly measured, cable pull for the front mech can be worked out by where the cable stops are mounted on the frame.
Dog collar can be tricky to find, but you will find one.

The canti guide clamp is called a dog collar, (konas name for it) you put a shared add up, search the for sales and check eBay for one.
Or hope somebody reading this has one.

As I wrote, using the sites search function there's so many conflicting measurements.

once the frame turns up i'll borrow some digi verniers from work.

i was hoping to order in the parts ready for when the frame lands but its obviously not that simple.

I think this plastic dog collar thingy is going to be a problem
