Bummer, bummer.

I had almost exactly the same failure on my 95 Ritchey WCS hub. But at least I had the pleasure of riding it a few years. Mine was in a radial laced front wheel too, and I knew that the WCS was not recommended for radial lacing. When lacing 3cross the spoke pull acts on a longer section of the hub flange and the stresses in the flange are less severe.
