so i started a bike shop. update 28/11/24

Hey Jon, good to hear your doing well, just don’t over do it!
Shop looks great, be in next time I’m down that way. Wishing you good trade over the Christmas and New Year period.

thought it was time for another little update, it's been a bit mental this last month, the sun came out for pretty much 3 weeks and everyone dug their bikes out of the shed, the shop is open tuesday to saturday, but tuesday to friday i haven't left the shop until about 11pm except for one night, saturdays average around 8 or 9pm, and i tend to do a few hours on sundays and mondays as well. to be fair the money has been pretty good as a result, so i decided to order some shop fittings that i had wanted for a while, i find i quite often want to move stuff around, basically if there's a stock change chances are it somehow forces me to move stuff around. today, a Bank Holiday i decided was the best day to move everything around, i phoned up as many customers as possible to get repaired bikes out so luckily there's not many bikes in right now, 7 of the 9 in at the moment are done, 2 came in yesterday and aren't needed for a week so i'll do them on tuesday.

i also have quite a few retro bikes at the shop now, they're put out of the way but i show them off quite often especially when people ask about restorations or paint jobs etc

anyway, here's some pics, and hopefully descriptions as well.

i wanted the saddles much more accessable, the way the shop was laid out before made it a pain to get to them

more pics, there's loads as i am pretty happy with the way it all looks at the moment!

the last of the Bell helmets, these are all half price, Bell are going direct to consumer, means it's pointless having them, they'll always be able to undercut shops, they trying to have their cake and eat it, a lot of shops will dump the brand, not ideal.

then there's upstairs,

lets do the retro stuff first!

as you walk up the stairs you get to see the 92 explosif and the 95 kilauea
