snowflake hope/mavic 231/purple ano wheelset sold

Hi there I bought this wheelset off clockworkgazz a few months back, they have since been used for 2 rides on my independent fabrication cow, but due to new wheels arriving they're no longer needed.

I've given them a good clean and they're ready to go- there's no wear to the rims so happy riding for many miles ahead.

They come with skewers but no cassette.

Great wheels: can I ask a question though? I thought snowflake build on the rear was for the non-drive side only as the increased spoke tension on the drive side meant snowflaking was contraindicated. Happy to be told not but that's how the rear on my STS was built and it made sense in 1997. Although so did many things.

Any thoughts anyone?

PS I am interested in these wheels, but think their purchase will be non-approved...

I can confirm these are a rather nice wheelset, i never did work out what the ano hub was but iirc it was silky smooth.

Not sure on the rear snowflake question, i have heard that snowflakes were stronger than normal laced wheels and that they were weaker ......
