Smoke/Dart

Been running the dart on the front for years now.Somewhere in the distant past I must have replaced the rear smoke and not been able to get another.Out at Cannock today with my eldest and noticed one of the rear tyre nobs was hanging off and the tube starting to bulge through on the Jones tyre.Careful ride into Swinnerton cycles to replace said tyre, mentioned I'd got a Dart on the front the guy disappears and comes back with a Smoke Classic Oh joy worth every penny, surely one of the best tyre combos you can get

Certainly one of my favourites... Currently running it on two of my bikes and pretty convinced it can't be beaten. Glad to hear you got a good score on the tyre!

Used to really like the combo as it came with my Karakoram. I tried the Velociraptor f&r combo too, a close second but at least they're available again.

Panaracer still make 'em - not the "Magic" compound ones though
A few places have them at £25 ea. for kevlar bead plus complimentary inner tube.

And yes, they are still one of the best XC tire combos available, if a little heavy.

Hi,

I used to have a pair of blue smoke and dart
They suited my bike well. I binned them recently, because they worn out.

I don't think they are available in The Netherland anymore, a pitty.
