Rescued this 1990 Boulder ATX.
Nothing fancy-pants but the Jackson Pollock dribbly paint is amazing with the matchy stem, and partner (who this is for) and I think this is a cool bike
All original afaik.
Cleaned up and everything works as it should. In fact, works really really well. Groupset is all Suntour (which if it wasn’t scratched to f*ckery would be really nice. Would probably strip and bung on the Univega if it was in better visual shape) with Dia Compe levers.
Swapped out the mismatched wheelset for a nicer set of Mavics on Shimano hubs from the shed, brought from @Osci on here.
Pedals have been banged to shet so bunged on the rat-traps until I can find the box that has so Wellgo with toeclippy things.
Needs a rack, obviously.
And new tyres at some point.
