Well after a lot of research, testing and general moments of "it's too difficult to decide" ten mintues ago I bit the bullet and gone for a parkwood frame only. I was going to go for a stache but Evans will only accept click and collect for unknown reasons, and I couldnt be bothered driving 50 miles to Plymouth to have a look at it (and paying in advance).
I know the major pro of the Parkwood build for £999 is the price with a reverb suspension seatpost, but I reckon I can get a similar build for about £750 without the dropper post, plus it gives me a chance to hunt out bargains over the coming months.
I will start a thread once the bits start rolling but it might be boring as i'm not in a hurry.
And if anyone has any 120mm forks or decent wheels please let me know..
