***! SKF BB! Where do I drill?

I hate these plastic cup SKF BBs. I even bought the tool this time and still it just stripped the plastic cup straight of. So Zinn goes with me to work on Monday for BB drilling. Where exactly do I need to drill to get this out?

I used a blowtorch to get one out once, was quite satisfying to burn that piece of junk out! Sorry - probably not very helpful, don’t think you can go far wrong if you keep the drill bit away from the bb threads in the frame.

thanks Sparky. I'll put it in the pillar drill and work my way round

Sorted today, 4mm drill bit around axle, chisel and mallet plastic back to bearing shell outer, hit other side with metal hammer. This will remove the cartridge unit with axle and bearings, Then chisel and mallet away from threads to crack the remaining plastic race. 20 mins I reckon.
