SINTTESI BAZOOKA. MINT CONDITION

Retro Newbie
A RETRO DOWNHILL BIKE, THAT SHOULD BE IN A MUSEUM FOR DOWNHILL HISTORY. IMO. (IF THERE WAS SUCH A PLACE!)
THAT SAID ITS STILL GOT 7 INCHES OF TRAVEL BACK AND FRONT. I BOUGHT THE FRAME NEW IN 1998.
DONT BE FOOLED BY THE EXCELLENT CONDITION, IT HAS BEEN USED. IT HAS HAD A FEW FACE LIFTS.
THE FRAME HAS LEAD A CHARMED LIFE, AND HAS NO DENTS OR SCRATCHES.
I DONT THINK YOU WILL FIND A MUCH STRONGER FRAME. THE FORKS ARE RST SIGMA,
WHICH WAS NOT THE NORM IE BOXERS OR MONSTER T.
BUT NEVER LET ME DOWN AND WERE EASY TO SERVICE WITH A PAIR OF SURCLIP PLYERS AND A LITTLE GREASE.
SMOOTH TRAVEL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. PLUS THEY LOOK THE PART.
AS SAID I BOUGHT IT IN 1998 AND USED IT FOR ABOUT 3-4 YEARS. ITS BEEN IN MY GARAGE WITH A COVER OVER IT EVERSINCE.
LETS NOT KID OURSELVES, IT WILL STILL OUT RIDE MOST OF US.
I DID PUT NEW BRAKE PADS IN JUST BEFORE I STOPPED RIDING IT.
I THINK THE BRAKES COULD DO WITH A SERVICE AND BLEED.
IT COULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT SHOW PIECE OR STILL BE COMPETIVE IF YOU WANT TO POINT IT DOWN HILL AND LET GO OF THE BRAKES!

FRAME SINTTESI BAZOOKA.
FRAME SIZE SMALL.
REAR SHOCK MARZOCCHI BOSS.
FORKS RST SIGMA.
HEADSET FSA ORBIT XTREME.
BARS ANSWER PRO TAPPER.
HUBS HOPE BIG/UNS
RIMS MAVIC D321 DISC.
BRAKES HOPE.
TYRES MICHELIN.
CRANKS FSA CNC AFTERBURNERS.
GEARS &SHIFTER SHIMANO XT.
PEDALS SHIMANO DX PDM54.
CHAIN DEVICE MR DIRT.

I CANT ATTACH ANY PICTURES, BUT I AM HAPPY TO E-MAIL THEM TO
ANY ONE WHO IS INTERESTED.
AS SAID BEFORE THIS BIKE IS IN MINT CONDITION,
FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS,
AS FOR A PRICE, NOT SURE OPEN TO OFFERS. I WOULD BE LOOKING
FOR AROUND £700

i think moaning about prices is better left to private messages and really not cool put up on a thread. i think £700 sounds bloody good to me too.

Can I just say, please look at the pictures which I'm happy to send to
anyone, you dont see many like this.

I think it's a fair price - the only thing which (kind of) lets it down is the forks - it needs some Monster Ts on it!

I know I'm new on here and dont want to sound rude,
but I take it that everyone knows what sigma's are,
they are not cheap £150 forks,
they came out after the xxl fork and cost back then about £900,
ther are upside down fork and very strong, I think travel is about
178 mm, I had mr t's before and was all ways having to change
blown oil seals. plus they are very light for a full on downhill fork,
these forks are rare but not because they are rubbish,
it's just because people follow trends.
