OK, first a bit of text, the shock comes later:
Browsing the net I came across a Yeti Ultimate.
The original owner - a designer - bought the bike in 1990 or 1991.
Since it was not extraordinary enough for him, he let it repaint.
A really professionally done job, clearly to see, but for us: :?
It has to be repowdered for sure!
What is more important:
That frame was barely ridden, and was obviously always in dry storage. In the seat tube, there is only few rust, absolutely nothing to worry about. No dents, dings or cracks.
Next good news: The serial number is: U302
So it's actually a very early 1990s or even a 1989er.
The AccuTrax is a 1-1/4 " shaft length: 19.5 inches, 5cm thread, the stem and headset ahead :shock:
Seat clamp is original (unfortunately not in the picture), which unfortunately is missing for the front derailleur pulley.
Prices:
As shown, incl. original seatpost clamp: Euro 800,-
Frame and fork powdered in buyer´s favorite colour(s): Euro 950,-
