Show us your Spin or Spinergy mounted steeds

I've used both Spinergy and Spin wheels in the past and can't honestly think of any reasons to recommend them,Spins were heavy Spinergys were heavy and really flexy.Neither were as good as 32 spoke 'normal'wheels, but if you want some, try em,they do look pretty nice.

I dont use mine anymore, it is sat on the top of my shelving stack in my shed gathering dust!

There are no benefits to them at all, other than (in some eyes) they look good ;)

I only have a rear, but if a front came up at the right price I'd buy it to have a pair. The problem is, they only suit some bikes.

the reasons I use mine ...

25% lighter than a standard wheel
36% stiffer than a standard wheel
Aerodynamics allow 17% gain in corner speeds
Due to design of wheel when jumping produces a propeller effect if at right angle to allow further distances gained from jump

Other than looking cool, they didn't really have any benefits, they flexed and weren't light, they were cool though

Did i mention they were cool

So far IMHO

They look great as a pair or Paired up with a Diskdrive.

They offer nothing in the way of weight saving. :?

They look so cool.

Has anyone mated them up with a pace :?:
(I understand the spin wheels might not like the offset)

Cheers for all of the pics guys

D

only bike i've ever seen that i would say the wheels fit PERFECTLY with the bike! really sad you sold it. :(
