Pretty much catalogue spec, with the exception of the saddle (a 1989 Specialized Blob Saddle, not a Selle Italia Turbo), the stem and the brake blocks.
An interim build, borrowing a lot of parts from my 1989 'regular' Stumpjumper (above).
Hubs and pedals are DX not XT, saddle and stem are from the regular 89 and not the Comp models.
Never saw it in catalog spec, been improving it since 94
The GT fork on a Spesh is a bit tough to bear, but the quality is good, and I doubt my FutureShock will ever bounce again.
And here's a bonus, another one getting some downgrades:
