A1 Ground Control 1996 near original I;ve swapped the rear 517 in photo for a 221 and some LX canti's in place of the v-brakes

RobMac, it's a RS revelation dual air 130 mm Some people have said its a bit too big, but it rides super smooth and I don't go for the "throws the geometry out by 1degree" stuff.
If it feels right then Just get on with it and ride!

40mm over the standard length's a lot percentage wise, but hey

Thanks RobMac, I love that one, reckon she'll be buried with me! the ride is like nothing else, compliant quick just feels good.
I know what you are saying re ride height and I didn't mean to sound dismissive and a bit haughty what I meant to imply is that I set them up for my style and I'm comfortable with that. ridden 5-6hrs often, over and around dartmoor and it felt right for me sorry if I've offended anybody out there, not my intention
that M5 is flippin' fast like .... off a shovel as the saying goes
I've increased the negative air pressure and that drops the fork travel by about 15-20mm I'll try it and let you know how it rides

My recently acquired '93 Stumpjumper FS, with matching bars, stem and seatpost. Also some grubby FutureShock forks that may not be appropriate as they are threadless, and don't really have the right boots or brace :roll:
