It's a frm seatpost. I had a frm stem also but I changed it with the specialized aluminun. It was very light and maybe, after 18 years, too dangerous!! (Frm is an italian high quality components factory)

My 1995 Stumpjumper M2 FS, bought it as frame/fork in 1996 after the LBS owner moved on to an FRS, and slowly upgraded the rest until it was in this form by end of 1997 or so. Rode it heavily 'till about 1999, then occasionally until recently got back into biking, and we're back on the singletracks again! As a result, I've replaced the pedals (rebuilding 535 bearings is a RPITA) and the tires (The Team Control/Team Master combo was always my favourite, but these were shedding lugs).
