Personally I wouldnt call that a softail either, designed to flex maybe, but many hardtails are. To me a softail has to have a damper unit on it with no pivots.

Here is another Dekerf from 1999. Bought it used, retired it a year ago, then was given a nos fork and cranks so a new project was started! This is the 4th different build I've had on the frame. Found it flexy before, should be interesting with the Sid.

Had to put a few modern parts on it, still need to install grips and pedals. Have some 747's that I'm polishing and trying to make look as nice as the cranks.
