What a good day of posts.
Wow what a beautyWell lets keep a good thing going Here is a late update on my 1988 Wedge. It came back from Dekerf with the fork fixed and the crack in the rear drop out fixed. The fork had the bent steerer tube, which was milled out and an dnew thicker one pressed in. The rear was rebrazed and a sleeve brazed over top. It only needed a slight respray on the rear stay and Chris matched it very well. I reassembled the bike with basically the original components cleaned up and polished with the major upgrade being the XT Rapid fire levers. The rear casstte is NOS I got from a buddy helping me out with all this. I think the bike ended up better than new View attachment 838793View attachment 838794View attachment 838795View attachment 838796View attachment 838797View attachment 838798View attachment 838799View attachment 838800View attachment 838801View attachment 838803
Thanks brother!Wow what a beauty
Stunning, but might this actually be a suspension-corrected frame? BB looks low and ST fairly steep!?Love the Blizzard content here! Adding my1994 Blizzard I purchased used. It was rough and had a few dents, so I stripped it and repainted Toyota Blizzard Pearl White. Built up with primarily M900 XTR, and Campagnolo Miro rims. It’s a Retro/RestoView attachment 838866

Yeah the OEM looks to have a slightly longer crown to drop, no matter it seems to handle and rides great. I like the way it looks.Actually I think it is corrected and runs a slightly longer rigid fork. If anyone owns them they can measure them.
Syncros are earlier forks.
Thanks man!One of my favourite bikes on the forum
