dunno. don't think they produce them anymore. cost and available was a challenge, that's why i never ended up a pair.

The Rocket Ron looks nice, run fast but I have take them out and put a back panther front (vredestein, very good grip) and racing ralph rear. Lot of flats, and they didn´t come in tubeless.

I don´t like too much, They attract too many eyes and you get tired of them.

Here's a few recent pics of my totally period-incorrect '96 Blizzard, the Anniversary Edition..

As you can see, the frame is trying to look older than it actually is, with the m730/5 XT, RS Mag21 and Turbo ..
And sometimes, it wishes it was slightly bigger too.
But it's a great ride nonetheless, with the original hand-built Wheeltech wheels.

Here's one for aguycalled80...is this the same colour as your old Avalanche? It's the 1st one I've seen in orange and purple. It had 7sp deore parts on it, so I'm thinking it's an 89.
