The forks were custom made by Overburys - Niva chrome tubed straight blade, tapering towards the dropouts. They had 1 1/8th steerer and plugged into an Impact headset for sensible staying-done-upness.
Hey,no offence intended, Duke. I'm a born n bred Brizzle boy and won't hear a word said against it.
Oh! And I did get the bike back!! Stolen in june 92 and found in september. I spotted it being ridden on Horfield Common, and parked my Honda in front of it. Had an argument with the rider for a while and he eventually took fright n legged it. I popped out the wheels, strapped it on the back of the Honda and headed home!
I sold Overbury on to a guy in Nailsea as I'd already replaced it with a Stumpy M2 by then. I wonder where it is now??
