My late Uncle circa 1958 just before the Manx GP on a Matchless G45. I asked him how fast he was going. He looked at me as if I was an idiot. "Flat out." In a beret and overalls?? I quote "You have to test them." Yes of course......

Multi talented lady, your queen. I was living in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, across the River border from Sault Canada, during her coronation. I remember we spent the day listening to it on a Canadian radio station. We offer condolences and we will miss her indomitable spirit.

Transalp passed mot today with no advisories. Bought it this time last year for peanuts after best part of ten years off the road under a sheet. All I’ve done is oil and filter etc and a light fettle.
