Show us your 'Man Cave'!

Can't quite make up my mind whether this thread is a p..sing competition or an obsessive compulsive disorder meet.

id live in that shed...its nicer than my house...my current man cave is so full i cant actually get in it....

So I had grown weary of rummaging about in my toolbox for that 10mm spanner only to find it 5 minutes later right at the bottom, a 2min job seemed to take 10min, a bit of ocd was in order...

and a small shrine to all things bike...

only one bike pictured, one is at work, the rest in bits in the roofspace away from prying eyes.... ;)

More of a woodshop than a bike repair shop, but it converts, and the bike (only one) is stored horizontally on the ceiling above the photographer here.

I realised I took a pic of my garage when I put a few brackets up:

Garage.JPG

Doesn't show the other side with the shelves full of tools and random parts.

as the mess in the garage / workshop /mancave was getting out of proportion

after having surfed on the garage journal forum

you really see some amazing stuff - more car oriented and US size

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/foru ... order=desc

and admired the 12 gauge one

I have decided to act

so around the new year -
new paint on the ground
purchase of some metal cabinet to store tools, ironmongery and bike parts
here is the result

AFTER the action

a lot is hanging on the ceiling and I don't show you the garden shed which needs some cleaning up - plan second phase is underway :?

I had to cut the back of the green cupboard to integrate the gas meter and not lose precious cm3 of storage - it his hidden by the shoe boxes !
