Here's my 1993 blacklight karakoram- i call it blacklight fade since the paint is so badly faded.
It still looks somewhat blacklight on the undersides of the tubes, and the rest of the bike has turned what it think is a pleasant purple hue.
The original crank needed to go and was replaced with an exage unit of a similar vintage... maybe. Wheels are matrix singletrack pros, tires are new kenda H-factors, and the rest is the original lx stuff. Oh wait, the seat. You know, i have no idea what the seat is... it says GT on it, so i bought it, but i think it's from a tempest or some other newer GT...
No longer in my possession, and no the hottest, but here's a... 1993? 1992?..... 1991? outpost i got off the local classifieds for $25 (US). Also faded! all my pretty gt's are faded!
