Love this! I’ve just picked up one of these myself. Did you do the paint job yourself?

Yes I did after a bit of trial and error ,I had to paint each tube separately as you have to quickly apply heat when putting the crackle colour on to get a uniform effect.
I bought the aerosols from Graff City and the primer & lacquer locally.
They in the do other colours in the crackle.
I just got a bit bored and thought I would give it a go ,when I have finished my next 2 bikes I am going to have a go at splatter finish and I also fancy a American theme Stars & Stripes.
The joys of retirement and being locked down

Very nicely done! It’s certainly got me thinking...
 
Here's my "old man of the woods" (that's me) styled GT. It is but a humble '93 Outpost, but I've known the bike since new, and owned it for about 10 years. It has a Suntour XC Comp rear mech, which may be worth more than the rest of the bike put together. I'm very fond of this bike, though- frame geometry is spot-on for me.
