Show us your Gravel Bikes / committee meeting

Almost 40 years separate these: time that has given one of them electronic shifting, thru axles, disc brakes, carbon forks and compact geometery.

Both frames are beautifully made by skilled people …..

… the one on the left is lighter, quieter and does off road things better (due to the bars) 😁 That notwithstanding, I’d give shed room to one like the young upstart - with wider bars, analogue shifting and not carbon forks - they make a lot of sense and handle really well.

It’s frighteningly fast downhill. Like others here, I’ve a real soft spot for drop bars and big tyres 👍🏻

Mine is some sort of Frankensteins monster.... I was contemplating drop bars but gone carbon flat bar instead.

29er on 2.35, 1x12.

Gravel/Winter bike used from pretty much now until March on my weeknight rides and the occasional long distance weekend ride.

It's rapid and since I put the carbon forks on its turned into a bit of a weapon.
