Show us your Giant

Of my Giants this is the most special of all. I had been married for 1 year and my wife one night commented that she had never had her own bicycle.
Giant Iberica owed me a small favor, so I asked for a bycicle that was not sold in Spain but was in the international catalog.
Actually it was the complete bike but I only wanted the frame...and they sent it to me from Poland

For the assembly I decided on a good range but nothing exclusive, it was about making a light/reliable/easy to carry and beautiful bike.
I thought about an XT but it seemed to me that for someone who doesn't ride the Grip Shift is easier. The 7.0, an equivalent to Xt... was the one chosen because the change also came with blue logos matching it
The brake levers also 7.0, light and flexible, but ideal for the use that was going to be given to them. They have mysteriously lost their logos, but they still look perfect
The rest Shimano, XT hub, XT brakes, LX front derailleur
Mavic 217 rims with 2/1.8/2 DT competition spokes and blue Dt nipples
The saddle is a little gem: a women's specific Selle Italia LDY with a blue snakeskin finish... a very rare thing and it looks perfect.

Well, the km counter reads less than 70 km.
I keep it with great affection IMG_9268.webp IMG_9269.webp IMG_9270.webp IMG_9271.webp IMG_9272.webp IMG_9273.webp IMG_9274.webp IMG_9276.webp IMG_9278.webp IMG_9279.webp

The ATX Team that replaced the ATX 800. a few grams heavier but much more consistent to have a disc brake. My first brake discs, the Hayes Mag plus with carbon levers. Superb machine to compete
My little son currently uses it almost every day to train. The bicycle is a true warrior DSC02420.webp DSC02422.webp DSC02423.webp DSC02424.webp DSC02425.webp DSC02426.webp DSC02429.webp

Then the carbon arrived...the first one broke but they gave me an advance one for the following season:
A Team FO
Without a doubt the best bike I have ever owned. At just 8kg in weight, very fast, agile, extremely noble and very very comfortable, to do many km
