Up on the Downs yesterday.

Does anyone find they have to clamp their seatpost quite a bit with the Fisher clamp or it slips?

Thinking of getting a more lightweight option as well.

Can anyone give me any advice on the bottom brackets. There's the tiniest bit of play, like maybe 0.25mm. Is this anything to worry about or an easy fix?

what year is your GF ?
until beginning of nineties, they used « press fit » BB (like Klein). In that case, you should change the bearings

it's easy, I put the bearings in the freezer, the cold shrinks the metal. I used a socket to put them in place, then

How does the RS1 ride!?

The bike rides fine ! Quite heavy but lateraly stiff.
The suspension works fine, instead it’s an elastomers-bumper system : smooth and a good damper near hydraulic.

1989. How easy is to change the bearings?

2 possibilities :
• Firstly, you’re the lucky owner of the Klein remover BB tool (picture)
• Secondly : you aren’t the Klein tool owner. So, you need a good hammer and screw a crank bolt on the top of the axle for protecting it. Don’t forget to grease for helping the integration of new bearing
