My project with $25 NZD 29er forks mocked up. Rat rod style at the moment and will most likely stay that way. Will try the 69er style for a while if the handling is wack the 26 inch forks will go back on. I do need to source a front wheel though so that will make it more expensive.

Any thoughts on the best source for a 29er wheel without going brand new? Should have a front hub somewhere so I could buy a rim and spokes and build myself. Would a hybrid wheel be an option or is that not the done thing? :roll:
