Me too, I used to own a 70 series Cruiser. They are very similar to drive and to sit in. Mitsi has the edge on the road, Toyota off of it.

This one's for al.

A (not very large!) pic of my '73 squareback at the 1988 Bug Jam....

It still looks exactly the same as this but it's been residing in my garage for a few years awaiting a complete professional restoration when I receive my retirement lump sum!

Steve.

Go and rescue it from the garage and the 80's! ;-)

Re:

Gibble, I drove a Kuga the other week and was very impressed. My mate bought it for his dad to get him safely over the hill I rescued him from a couple of years back when he slid and snapped a drive shaft in his saloon car.

Very comfy, and I reckon Ford are right up there with the Mercs and Beemers now for build quality and interior.

Re:

its very nice to drive i have to agree.third gear has a lot of oomph.i really like the fact it talks to me so i dont have to feel for buttons ect.i just say usb play and off it goes.it also reads out text messages too .no looking for ignition in the dark as it uses remote fob thingies.it seats high up too so my wife loves not having to hurt her self climbing out of the seat.the windows are heated so no scraping ice which i hate.plus visability is faB.you seat high up compared to other cars like the c max which we were looking at too......oh and its got huge alloys and tonnes of grip.....next one we get will be the burnt orange paint job version as they were all sold out when we went shopping.we had to get one from ipswich sent over to gorleston in the end as they were selling out everywhere.
