1991 Mitsubishi Sigma. High tech car with a more sporty DNA than the Volvo. A future classic. Severe import restrictions and the assett bubble economy resulted in many expensive (read: huge margin), sophisticated Japanese offerings in the early nineties: Lexus, Legend II, 3000GT, NSX, RX-7 etc.

Re:

Loving the Jag, that carb will need a bit of fettling for the bonnet no?

Also loving the Sigma, what a wonderful car. I prefer the earlier Volvos though, before they got all angular.

Filter looks lower than the bulkhead and the bonnet doesn't slope much :D

The blowers going to cause a problem though ...

WD :D

Re:

The carb fits under the bonnet just fine-the Chevy V8 is much more compact than the old Jag 6-it actually fits behind the front axle, and weighs 120 pounds less than the 6, resulting in better handling (less understeer). It's got a larger radiator with an electric pusher fan in front of it, so runs cool- Plus, triple the original horsepower  ...

I am pretty much in love with this car Pat. Re-purposing an old motor into something interesting, really nice job.

Are you uprating it otherwise to handle the extra balls?
