Show us your Brodie

I have been looking for a bike for my son searching for either an older Brodie or RM and came across this site. We just moved and had a box of old letters etc and after seeing some postings of original receipts, thought I would look in the box for mine. Voila, there it was from Robson Cycles here in Vancouver. Will take a photo and post along with some pics of bike when I have a cha

Ok, did not realise that this was a UK site until late last night. Still seems to be the only site with any dedicated interest in Brodie bikes with any sort of information available. At any rate, below are some photos of my Climbmax and the original bill for frame #1328. Mostly stalk with the exception of the very worn seat and the Richey seat post to get some height on this 16" bike. Oh, and I think at lease one of the wheels was rebuilt with new rims. Mostly use it for riding quick errands down to the beach and has not seen much hill work since the mid 90's when I would actually consider riding down trails called 'Severed Dick'.

Could have maybe cleaned it for the photos but I am sure you can imagine it a bit more sparkly with the metallic paint

That looks great @dmack88. Love the matching Gator and ICR stem. I bet it would polish up nicely

If we had not just moved (again but within city limits) I doubt I would have ever even attempted to look for the receipt but as the box was out, I was fortunate to find it within 5 mins.

Anyone have an idea what Dewey Bars are? There is reference in my receipt. I noted that the bars are branded Brodie.

Also, not sure if my blue touch up paint hurts the bike but I think 30 years ago I decided trying to match was a fools game and better to contrast and make it look like it was on purpose.
