This is a cool post people. I started with this obsession in 1988 and that is the era im slowly clawing my builds back to

Them Konas are superb and like its been said, STILL look amazingly up to date.

1988 Stumpjumper
My favourite all time bike.
The one that makes me smile whether its a ride round the local woods or flat out up a mountain.
1988 Stumpjumper, everything standard and original, except for Umma Gumma's and XT pedals.
Good condition but used regularly, a keeper for sure.

Eric,
I really like your collection. Your mid 80's rides really do it for me. Personally, I don't get that excited with the newer 90's vintage bikes where front suspension muddles up the lines. Both Pott's and the OG look big enough to fit my frame size. Your OG is certainly one of the bikes that is inspiring me to complete a Dirt drop build on my TimberComp. I never get tired of admiring these bikes when you choose to post up photo's. I appreciate it every time.

Now, add your own snide comment from me here....... (you decide) so you don't think I am sucking up (I'm not). I just like your taste in bikes and the era correct way you put them together.
