Here's what was my 1989 Nigel Dean, bought for peanuts and sold for the same, tatty as hell but ridden lovingly through the summer. Handbuilt Reynolds 531 AT frame and forks.. I miss that bike now :(

Nothing worth looking at here..... :oops:, just an old '88 Explosif that I've owned from when it was six months old.
This photo was taken a couple of years ago though, when it didn't have the nice flouro HS-33's....

In my opinion these late '80s Konas are one of the few bikes from that time that look the business even today :cool: .

86 Cannondale SM600. My first mountain bike bought new in December 86 after 18 months of hard saving. Original was stolen in mid 90's. I bought this one four years ago on eBay and its restoration brought me to RetroBike.

1989 Kona Cinder Cone,I got my first MTB in 89,this is what I wanted but got something else :cry: anyway finally got hold of this one a couple of months ago,rides ace :cool:
Needs a few tweeks such as binning the STI levers!
