How can I give my FSR a slacker head angle? Would ofset rear shock bushes help? Longer front shock and adjust the BETD linkage to suit?

Hi i know this is an old thread,I've got my self 1998 fsr elite now,has got the betd linkage on the back,now i want to upgrade to air shock,to replace the standard fox vanilla r coil currently on the bike,could anyone link me to or help me get the correct one please,not looking to spend a furtune,thanks

Strongbull, you'll need 165mm eye-to-eye. 1.5inch stroke i think. Can pick up air cans for anything £50-£60 used or a bit more. Usually some on here. Put up a wanted ad.

Maltvinegar- that finish is factory. I think it's an anodised/sand blasted finish....It's slightly rough feeling but seems pretty tough/not chips on it anywhere or cable rub....

Hi guy's,im after some info,my rear chainstay,drive side bearing has developed some play,I've managed to find a full kit but its for the 2000-2001 enduro fsr,they look very similar frame,triangle wise,can anyone clarify they would fit before i buy,this is the link http://mbbearings.co.uk/catalog/index.p ... babc47ce9e

Can you not just look up the bearing code from the existing and order a direct replacement?
It's probably a lot cheaper too!
