I couldn't afford a proper Downhill Bike, so I changed out a few parts and went racing, this one is pretty much as I ran it back in the day

Stem size and length

Hi,
I am looking for some advice re the stem on my 99 FSR Comp. I am 6'4" and the ride angle is giving me some back problems.
What's the longest stem length anyone has gone to? I know this will change the geometry but I don't want to end up buying the wrong length etc.
Bike is the large frame size and I have a long (not sure what length) seat tube already.

I found a layback seat post helped more than a long stem did, longest I ran was a 90mm though.

Frame has just come back from the powder coaters, lovely and bright, I am going to repaint and re sticker the bombers to match as well
