Show us yer FSR's

Sorry, my English (especially the technicals terms) is not that good, could you please explain which screws you meant, then?

I marked the ones I meant in red, the very small screw!

That shock is a 6.5" i2i (165mm) x 1.5" (38mm) stroke.
I have one exactly like it that came on a different frame, mines blown.

On another note I just picked up a 6.75" x 1.75" Fox Vanilla R in good working order from ebay and put it on my FSR.
My bikes not completely together yet but it looks like it will work out really well with the Enduro link.

Thanks for the info that's useful. Looks like a nice rig set up you got going! I think I like your link better than mine, I think the max I can get is 140mm travel not too shabby considering front is 150. just comes down to finding a shock.

what do you think of this its 165x35 would that fit or work?

Yep, perfect, okay.

Gotta have to change them to a standard screw/bolt, as the previous owner probably seized or changes them :)

No problem man, I have a BETD link also but the thing I don't like about it is the mass and
weight of it. I did put the BETD link on my Enduro when I stole it's link for the FSR lol ,
so I'll still be checking it out ride wise.

I think it "will" fit, you may have to get new bushings for it depending on whether the ones
off your old shock fit it or not. But man, your bike is looking sweet! I wouldn't put
that shock on there, you have some nice suspension on the front and the upgraded link
so I would try to put a nice shock on the rear to match. It is a major component on
a full suspension bike.
Personally, I wouldn't put anything but a Fox coil shock on it. That's all just my opinion. :)

I meant to ask you if your Sektor was coil or air?

Any other questions don't hesitate to ask, I'll try to help if I can.
Good luck in finding something whatever you decide to do!

edit: Forgot to ask if you took the spring off the shock and completely compress it
with your hands (off the bike), and see how quickly it returns?
If it springs back really fast it's probably blown, but if it's not you could still use it
at least till you find something better.

it rebounds, but reaaaal slow, so I assume that means its working ok? the spring length is 9.6 cm when I took it off.... I think

i've put the old link back on till I can get the right bolt for the spring end holes- was different size on the air shock
