Today I was down in Hawick for the Ken Laidlaw Sportive, I'd not particularly been looking forward to it to be honest, afte rthe sportive down in Norfolk I'd almost gave up on road biking. Anyway I'm glad I never I'd forgotten how good an event this was, massed start and a top course with some awesome downhills. If I had to recommend one sportive then this would be it.
nice one Kaiser, was thinking about you when I was out on the road, and regretting bottling it
managed out myself
Belgium has the cobbles, the hell of the north
Italy has the strade bianchi in beautiful tuscany
South Lanarkshire, has forestation and wind farms
managed to incorporate 8 miles of the rough stuff into todays road ride, all good stuff with the snake bite and a painfull cycle shoe slip on the gate in at the second pic'
