hi, yes indeed it's a bike from Fuchs. Good catch!
Bought end of the 90ties (at least with V-Brakes) from a Lady living in the neighbor village next to Rutesheim, the place where Heinz Fuchs had his company (or rather garages ). Still the frame has 1" headset and a cantilever bridge like most other Fuchs too.
The thick wine red lacquer is original too, although a bit uncommon.

I have this since a while and had a number of iterations and changes.

Very nice! It looks like a Super Sport with the oval chain/seat stays. The Comp had the box section rear end. I posted a pic of mine on page 7 of this thread.
