sastusbulbas - This one had a u-brake originally, i had it changed to cantilevers with cable stops on the top tube. Hence the izumi sticker to hide the transition from original paint to new, 'cos that part of the red was resprayed - by me :roll:
I "skipped" my first mountain bike about 10 years ago and have regretted it ever since. It was a 1986 Muddy Fox Courier - classic!

I think its a no brainer.
Keep the paint and make it all orig. spec.
