Shorter TT bike - John French

Hi All,
I am hoping someone here may be able to help shed some light into the history of a Shorter cycles frame which was built for John French on 27-7-93 (written on fork steerer and punched JF on BB and fork.
It has some beautiful brazing and would have been a top TT machine in its day with a slight sloping top tube.
Does anyone know any info regarding this frame, John French himself or related cycling history?
Pics attached;
Thanks in Advance,
J

Which John French one was a speed skater turned cyclist & 50 mile champ in 1981 pic below on a similar frame to yours.

The other was a Dave Holiday look alike back in the 70’s & I believe rides for an Oxford club these days🤔

Thanks for your input. There were two? judging by the picture, one would assume its this one?

Any further info welcomed.

Yes, there were two, both of them very good riders. It got quite confusing at times. Good job they never rode for the same club!

Great picture with Eddie Adkins upfront...👍
hope to get together with Eddie later this year so he can see the tribute bike in the flesh & get his thoughts 😁 he’s quite excited to see it as is his lovely wife Jan.
